• Tucker Contemporary Art identifies an eclectic mix of inspired emerging African American and other underrepresented artists – classically trained or outside the mainstream. Spirituality, music, nature and history inspire TCA artists to explore their worlds through a range of mediums.

TCA believes that the voices of African American and other underrepresented artists must become more prominent in the national and global art conversation — and their art work should be represented in the collections of individuals and institutions who support an inclusive contemporary art scene.

Tucker Contemporary Art helps facilitate this enriched dialogue by identifying and representing artists primed and ready to contribute. The ideas and work of TCA artists defy stereotypical conversations about art, race, gender, culture and class.

TCA also provides consulting and advisory services to artists and individual collectors, galleries and museums. TCA promotes the work, insights and perspectives of artists, collectors, curators and dealers of color across multiple platforms to raise the profile, prominence and collectability of our artists.
