Please join us on Saturday, July 12th, from 7-10pm for the opening reception to celebrate and enjoy the artwork of TCA artists Anthony E. Boone, Stefanie Nagorka and Margaret Rose Vendryes at Torche Galerie in Belmar on the beautiful NJ Shore. The exhibition includes the artwork of emerging, mid-career and established artists from the U.S and abroad.
Anthony E. Boone is a self-taught abstract expressionist and mixed media artist, whose work incorporates texture and hues that focus on the air surrounding the earth and the cosmos - and how profoundly each affects our personal traits and how we affect them.
Stefanie Nagorka is interested in making tangible the intangible. Her glazed terracotta wall reliefs are metaphors for the many and ever evolving aspects of human feeling and consciousness. Each piece is meant to evoke feelings, thoughts and visceral impulses.
Margaret Rose Vendryes gives her dynamic female performers agency and protection replacing their psychological mask with a literal one. Songs - messages that once rose out of vinyl channels like black magic - are inscribed in the space that surrounds them.
