Featured artists:
Anthony E. Boone, Uday Dhar, Ivan Forde, John Pinderhuges and Danielle Siegelbaum

Peculiar and mysterious images by photographers John Pinderhughes and Ivan Forde interrelate with 3-dimensional creatures by Danielle Siegelbaum, cosmic visions by painter Anthony Boone and doppelgangers by mixed media artist Uday Dhar in Optional Allusions opening on September 17 and running through November 10 at Aloft Hotel, 2296 Frederick Douglass Blvd at 124th Street.

The artists in Optional Allusions propose alternate realities suggesting allegories, myths, and legends….follow them down the rabbit hole or let your mind take it’s own trajectory. The exhibit curated by Leanne Stella begins in the vacant storefront windows at street level along Frederick Douglass Blvd and then travels inside the lobby and lounge of Aloft Hotel.
